Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a part-time bartender at Hyatt House Dania Beach in Dania Beach, FL. This role requires preparing beverages, serving guests, checking IDs, and maintaining a clean bar area. Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) are required, with emphasis on friendly, efficient guest service.

Experience in bartending (1+ year preferred) and basic computer use are a plus. This position is part of Kolter Hospitality’s dynamic team committed to safety and compliance with liquor laws.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages according to company recipes and standards including signature cocktails.
• Properly check I.D.s.
• Have thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials.
• Aide in bar promotions.
• Engage guests in a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
• Process and collect payments from guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform bar setup and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Know and comply with food handling and liquor laws.
• Report items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.

QualificationsGeneral Requirements:

• Able to work most weekends and holidays.
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform.

• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
• Occasional lifting, pushing and pulling.
