Job summary

Jay Ques on the Deuces in St. Petersburg, FL, is seeking an experienced bartender to join our fast-paced bar team. You will prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering top-tier guest service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of bartending experience, familiarity with POS systems (Union POS preferred), and a solid knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine. Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays is essential; Florida alcohol service certifications are

Qualifications

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly, with a passion for hospitality and creating a great guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Handle cash and process payments using the Union POS system
• Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience required (2+ years preferred)
• Familiarity with POS systems (experience with Union POS is a plus)
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

• Florida alcohol service certifications (such as ServSafe or equivalent)
• Experience in high-volume restaurant or bar settings
