Job summary

Summerfield Farms (NC) is seeking a highly responsible Bartender to deliver an excellent guest drinking experience while maintaining daily selling and inventory management in ABC-compliant operations.

The role requires weekend and evening work, and involves preparing beverages, providing top-notch service, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will report to the Beverage Coordinator and be a strong team player at Summerfield Farms.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Bartender.
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and service drinks.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and cleaned.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Ability to work outside in the elements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the bar in accordance with our menu and guests requests.
• Maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
• Interacting with customer, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks.
• Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations.
• Responsible for demonstrating skills and ability to close on sales in accordance with Summerfield Farms expectations, standards, and policies.
• Maintain and follow service manual in accordance with the ABC/best serving practices.
• Comply with all health, safety and ALE regulations.
• Responsible for entering and maintaining NCR inventory levels, invoicing, and collections.
• Mastery in multitasking
• Up to date with food and beverage trends
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Check customers’ ID and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
