Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Seasonal Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. They also handle food orders directly from customers or the wait staff and inform customers of any specials. They ensure food and beverage compliance, restock bar inventory, decide menu items and manage the overall bar operations

• Sunday, Monday, and Tuesdays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons

• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks

• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations

• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

• Plan and present bar menu

• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender

• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

• Computer literacy

• Knowledge of a second language is a plus

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

• Relevant training certificate

• Warm and engaging personality with good communication and interpersonal skills, especially verbal, with management, co-workers, guests, and other parties

• Very self-confident and mature; able to manage systems, employees, and demanding guests

• Extremely self-sufficient with good analytical, administrative, and problem-solving skills

• Good discretion and independent judgment in evaluating data and determining courses of action

• Ability to interpret, and implement management policies or operating practices

• Good self-discipline with an ability to complete tasks independently

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, issues, co-workers, and guests in stressful situations and take responsibility in a professional manner
