Job summary

Stratigos Banquet Centre and our upcoming restaurant are looking for an energetic, friendly bartender to join our growing hospitality team. You will work in both banquet settings for weddings and events and in the restaurant for daily bar service. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and delivering excellent customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work in both a banquet setting, serving weddings, private parties, and special events, as well as a restaurant environment with day-to-day bar and beverage service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide friendly and attentive service, ensuring an outstanding guest experience

• Craft high-quality cocktails and drinks with precision and efficiency

• Make food and drink recommendations and answer menu-related questions

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tops, stools, and surrounding floors

• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction

• Follow all alcohol service regulations and company policies

What We're Looking For:

• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person

• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• A friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

• Must be at least 21 years old and have (or be willing to obtain) required certifications

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
