Job description

Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for a part time Bartender.

Responsibilities:

• Stock bar with appropriate par levels of all items and complete appropriate paperwork for said pars.
• Responsible for stocking the bar with bar glassware.
• Responsible for stocking the bar with appropriate mixers and garnishes.
• Maintains full knowledge of beers, wine and liquor available at the bar.
• Maintains full knowledge of menu and other specialty cocktails.
• Meets and greets guests with a friendly and professional manner in accordance to set standards.
• Communicates with residents, guests and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Responsible for sweeping & mopping floor in assigned area.
• Tables are to be bussed and sanitized in accordance with set policy & procedure.
• Participates in proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Maintains full knowledge of service standards.
• Follows proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the storage areas, tools, equipment, carts and other areas/items as directed by Manager.

Experience:

• Previous bartending experience required.
• At least one year experience as a bartender within a restaurant, hotel or conference center operation and graduate of an accredited bartending school.

Education:

• High School or GED preferred.
• Current Illinois BASSET certification required.
