JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to create a unique and personal experience for our Buffalo Wild Wings Guests by effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make personal connections with Guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations.
- Participate in Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures for the BARS program, including checking IDs for anyone who looks under 40 years of age to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Read and organize tickets to serve Guests quickly and accurately, managing large crowds efficiently.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the standards and specifications set forth in the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain service, cleanliness, and operational responsibilities, including bussing, resetting the bar, restocking caddies, cleaning menus, and menu placement on the bar.
- Stock the bar and refill the ice bin as needed.
- Remove debris and spills from the floor in the assigned section to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Replace kegs and restock bottled beer and alcohol when necessary.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory and control costs, including tracking waste per company drink specifications and SOPs.
- Check current inventory levels of stemware, glassware, garnishes, etc., and replenish as needed by preparing, washing, and sterilizing items.
- Take food and beverage orders from Guests and prepare beverages for those guests as well as the server’s Guests.
- Process Guest payments accurately following the Company’s SOPs.
- Limit problems and liability related to excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area, including equipment and blenders.
- Support opening and/or closing duties as part of FOH support, maintaining operational cleanliness per the FOH Support Responsibilities Policy. Clock in and out appropriately when performing these duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, with pay rate determined by the specific duty.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during work hours. Notify your manager if unable to perform any task outside your physical capabilities.
