Job summary

Great American Restaurants in Northern Virginia is hiring bartenders for a fast-paced, guest-centric, high-volume setting in Reston, VA. You will guide guests through menus, take accurate orders, and work with GARStars to deliver an outstanding experience.

Top bartenders earn $1,000–$1,500 per week plus benefits including health insurance, PTO and a 401K based on eligibility. We offer paid training and growth opportunities in a team that values hospitality and fun.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending or guest service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and knowledge of menu items.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through menus with knowledge of items.
• Take accurate orders and coordinate with GARStars to serve food and beverages.
• Provide welcoming, attentive service and build guest rapport.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following functions:

• Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our items
• Taking accurate orders and working with other GARStars to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests’ expectations
• Providing a welcoming and attentive service that makes the guest feel well taken care of and building rapport with them
• Assist in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant
