Dave & Buster’s Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking a friendly Bartender to craft cocktails, pour beer, and deliver great food and drinks with fun.

You’ll know the menu, suggest items, handle payments, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while working with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of bartending experience.
• 21+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required.
• Follow the company uniform standards.
• Create a memorable guest experience.
• Teamwork is essential.
• Detail-oriented; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication with management, teammates, and guests.
• Act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with guests as ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Showcase extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly; anticipate guest needs.
• Adhere to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payments and invite guests back to the FUN.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and safe bar; perform side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Bartender, you have a knack for creating a welcoming environment and are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great food and beverage suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with all guests. Be our ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!)
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
• Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN!
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe bar, while completing the necessary side work
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 6 months of bartending experience
• 21+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Must act with a swift sense of urgency
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
