The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and servicing beverages to guests in a quick, efficient, friendly, and professional manner. Service must adhere to State and local alcohol regulations. Additional duties include maintaining a clean bar area, processing payments, and taking inventory of the bar. Shift: Graveyard.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Alcohol Awareness Card Required.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Maintain an updated knowledge of the brands of beer, wine, and liquors offered for consumption.
- Know the ingredients to cocktails and specialty drinks, the garnishes they require, and the proper glassware for them.
- Continuously watch for signs of intoxication for the protection and enjoyment of all guests.
- Ability to bend, lift, or carry goods weighing up to 50 lbs on a continuous schedule.
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and awkward positions, requiring standing, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overhead for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity of hand in order to use corkscrew, knives, and ice scoop.
- MUST adhere to all grooming standards, no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair and nail colors.

Responsibilities
- Greet and communicate with all guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Ensure prompt, expedient, and courteous service to all guests and visitors at all times.
- Smile and show genuine interest in guests’ needs or questions and always attempt to accommodate any reasonable request.
- Receive and understand beverage orders and repeat them back to the guest and/or servers for accuracy.
- Maintain an updated knowledge of the brands of beer, wine, and liquors offered for consumption.
- Know the ingredients of the most commonly requested cocktails and specialty drinks, the garnishes they require, the proper glassware for them, and the current prices.
- Properly mix drinks, set for presentation, and serve the desired alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages as requested by the guest and/or cocktail servers.
- Adhere to, enforce, and practice all alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations.
- Circulate through the assigned bar area continuously to provide superior guest service.
- Contact the Beverage Manager/Supervisor on duty for any guest‑related issues, if unable to assist in finding an agreeable solution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, free of dirty glassware, ashtrays, beer bottles, and dispose of other trash.
- Abide by the established standards for health, safety, and continual side‑work duties.

Physical Requirements
