Job summary

Vicar's Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking a professional Bartender to deliver beverage service across our dining venues, lounges, and special events. You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while maintaining hospitality standards and a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.

Base pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and holiday bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic bartending techniques, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately handle member charges, cash transactions, and beverage tracking.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to obtain Responsible Vendor certification if required.

Vicar's Landing is seeking a professional, friendly, and service-oriented Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service in our dining venues, lounges, and special events. This role is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests, and delivering a hospitality experience that reflects the high standards of our community. Success in this role means providing outstanding service, maintaining operational excellence, and contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for every guest.

Skills You Need

Must-Have Skills

• Knowledge of basic bartending techniques, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately handle member charges, cash transactions, and beverage tracking.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain Responsible Vendor or alcohol service certification, if required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Prior bartending experience in a restaurant, hospitality, private club, resort, country club, or senior living environment.
• Experience using POS systems and beverage inventory management tools.
• 12-18 months of related bartending experience preferred.
• Wine, craft beverage, or mixology knowledge.

Education: Degree not required if you have relevant skills, training, or experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience, skills, and shift).
