Vicar's Landing is seeking a professional, friendly Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service in our dining venues, lounges, and special events. This role involves preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests, and delivering hospitality that reflects our high standards.

Base pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience, with holiday bonuses, scholarships, and free lunch benefits.

About This Role

Vicar's Landing is seeking a professional, friendly, and service-oriented Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service in our dining venues, lounges, and special events. This role is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests, and delivering a hospitality experience that reflects the high standards of our community. Success in this role means providing outstanding service, maintaining operational excellence, and contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for every guest.

Must-Have Skills

• Knowledge of basic bartending techniques, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately handle member charges, cash transactions, and beverage tracking.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Prior bartending experience in a restaurant, hospitality, private club, resort, country club, or senior living environment.
• Experience using POS systems and beverage inventory management tools.
• 12-18 months of related bartending experience preferred.
• Wine, craft beverage, or mixology knowledge.

Education

Degree not required if you have relevant skills, training, or experience.
