As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will be crucial in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility is to properly prepare alcoholic beverages according to company recipes for guests and in a service bar setting. Sell and serve food and beverages to our guests and ensure the delivery of our company's best-in-class service throughout the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Have a thorough working knowledge of bartending, including bar terminology and essential drink recipes.
• Understand the basic rules of bartending, including how to correctly build a drink, suggest wine, and pour draft beer properly.
• Maintain an outgoing and positive personality at all times.
• Have complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage menu.
• Serve the entire bar and/or bar tables while meeting or exceeding company standards.
• Consistently upsell alcohol and food items.
• Use a computer to ring orders and process payments.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Accept various payment methods and make change accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including side-work and resetting the bar quickly.
• Check guest identification to ensure they are at least 21 years old and refuse service politely to underage guests.
• Monitor guest behavior, especially regarding alcohol consumption, and inform management if necessary.
• Treat all guests with respect to ensure their satisfaction and strive to exceed their expectations.
• Report to work in a neat, clean uniform with good personal hygiene.
• Communicate any guest concerns to managers.
• Take and fulfill to-go orders accurately, if applicable.
