Ford's Garage in Orlando is seeking a bartender who thrives in a high-energy environment and loves crafting handcrafted cocktails. You will serve guests with outstanding hospitality, manage bar inventories, and promote our menu with strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bartender experience in high-volume settings preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain food/alcohol certification as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with high-level service to generate new and repeat business.
• Craft handcrafted cocktails following brand recipes.
• Promote products with strong product knowledge on menus.
• Maintain bar inventories and ensure cash handling accuracy.
• Stock, open, and prep bar supplies to be ready for service.
• Adhere to food safety and liquor laws and avoid overserving or underage service.

Bartenders work behind the bar taking orders and delivering food and beverage to our guests while maintaining and enhancing the quality of our service. You are responsible for making any and all alcoholic beverages for the service staff. You will ensure everyone who comes through our doors as a guest will leave as a friend by being your authentic self.

Minimum Qualifications (with or without accommodation):

• Bartender experience required, preferably in a high-volume atmosphere
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification, as required by state law
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Must have reliable transportation

Our Bartenders are Responsible for:

• Providing our guests with the highest level of service standards to create new and repeat business and avoid guest complaints
• Creating stunning, handcrafted cocktails that align with brand recipes
• Promoting our products to guests by communicating with extensive product knowledge on food, beverage and promotional menus.
• Financial accountability during their shift, including consistent bar inventories to ensure balanced funds
• Ensuring our bars are ready to serve guests by stocking, opening and tapping all bar supplies
• Being aware of and abiding by food safety practices and liquor service laws, including not overserving guests or serving underage Guests.
