Job summary

OfCorsica NYC is seeking a skilled bartender to craft Mediterranean-inspired cocktails at our Little Island-adjacent bar. You’ll combine precise technique with warm hospitality to create memorable guest experiences in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include creating classic and signature cocktails, maintaining beverage knowledge, upselling promotions, and keeping a clean, well-organized bar. Fluent English, POS proficiency, and flexible availability are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a bartender in a full-service, high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine; Mediterranean wine knowledge a plus.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Must be fluent in English and able to operate a POS system efficiently.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain full knowledge of all beverage offerings, including wines, cocktails, spirits, and beer
• Offer thoughtful recommendations and guide guests through wine and drink pairings
• Support beverage-focused sales goals, upsell specials and promotions, and engage in brand storytelling
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with laws and company policy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, bar tools, and storage areas
• Restock product, prepare garnishes, and execute opening, closing, and side work duties
• Handle all payment transactions accurately and in line with company cash handling procedures
• Report equipment issues, low inventory, or guest concerns promptly to management
• Participate in training, tastings, and team meetings to strengthen product knowledge and service skills
