Job description

“It all began in my kitchen” – Sarabeth

Today, Sarabeth’s has four locations in Manhattan and several others around the world. Renowned for our popular brunch, we have also become well admired for our take on contemporary American cuisine at dinner, lively happy hours, and private events. We take great pride in creating a memorable experience for each guest with genuine hospitality and exceptional cuisine.

The Opportunity

Servers are responsible for all aspects of the guest experience at the table, including greetings, menu sales, table maintenance, overall guest satisfaction and happiness, fond farewells and maintain a general command of the food and beverage menu. • Follow steps of service, coordinate table maintenance, and practice effective ticketing.
  • Setup, shift maintenance, and breakdown of dining room and service areas.
  • Commit to learning and executing all organization service standards; five behaviors, hospitality versus service, and steps of service.

  • Provide friendly, attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and inspires them to return.
  • Act in the guest’s best interest to establish rapport, build business, and acquire guest loyalty.
  • Offer assistance and accommodate guest requests whenever possible.
