Job summary

Felipe's Taqueria in New Orleans is hiring bartenders to provide friendly service, craft margaritas, cocktails, beer and other beverages according to our recipes and service standards.

You will greet guests, manage tabs and payments on the POS, keep a clean, organized bar, and collaborate with managers during busy shifts while upholding responsible alcohol service.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong hospitality and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy restaurant shifts.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing drinks and handling payments.
• Dependable and team-oriented.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must meet all legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Responsible Vendor permit or ability to obtain one, where required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Prepare margaritas, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Follow Felipe’s established bar Steps of Service.
• Enter orders and payments using the POS system.
• Open, manage, and close guest tabs.
• Prepare fresh juices, mixes, garnishes, and bar ingredients.
• Monitor product quality and freshness during shifts.
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Complete opening, shift-change, and closing duties.
• Restock liquor, beer, glassware, ice, and bar supplies.
• Communicate effectively with managers and other team members.
• Follow responsible alcohol service requirements and all applicable food safety procedures.

About the Position

Felipe’s is hiring Bartenders to provide friendly, attentive service while preparing margaritas, cocktails, beer, and other beverages according to our recipes and service standards.

Our bartenders are responsible for more than making drinks. They create a welcoming experience for our guests, maintain an organized bar, accurately manage tabs and payments, and work closely with restaurant leadership and other team members during busy shifts.

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Prepare margaritas, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to Felipe’s recipes
• Follow Felipe’s established bar Steps of Service
• Accurately enter orders and payments using the POS system
• Properly open, manage, and close guest tabs
• Prepare fresh juices, mixes, garnishes, and other bar ingredients
• Monitor product quality and freshness throughout the shift
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, sanitized, and organized
• Complete opening, shift-change, and closing responsibilities
