Qualifications

• Previous bartending or restaurant experience in high-volume casual or fine dining.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Excellent time management to handle multiple bar guests and ticket flow during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for accurate sales transactions.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and upselling beverages.

Responsibilities

• Greeting bar guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations when appropriate.
• Take accurate beverage orders using POS systems such as Focus, Aloha, or Micros.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items like signature cocktails, premium wines, craft beers, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
• Recipe adherence for all craft cocktails, mixes, and garnishes to ensure consistency.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately.
• Ensure proper food handling, alcohol sanitation, and safety procedures are always followed, including checking guest IDs.
• Assist with stocking ice, prepping garnishes, washing glassware, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area to support smooth operations.
