Job description

JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to create a unique and personal experience for our Buffalo Wild Wings Guests by effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Make personal connections with Guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations.
2. Participate in Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures for the BARS program, including verifying ID for anyone who looks under 40 years of age.
3. Read and organize tickets to serve Guests quickly and accurately, managing large crowds.
4. Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to SOP standards.
5. Follow Steps of Service and other Company Operating Procedures.
6. Perform bussing, resetting the bar, restocking caddies, and cleaning menus and menu placement.
7. Stock the bar and refill ice bins as needed.
8. Remove debris and spills from the floor in the assigned section.
9. Replace kegs and restock bottles and alcohol when necessary.
10. Monitor and manage bar inventory and control costs, including tracking waste.
11. Ensure proper levels of inventory, including stemware and garnishes, and clean/sterilize items as needed.
12. Take food and beverage orders and prepare drinks for Guests and servers' Guests.
13. Process Guest payments accurately per SOP.
14. Limit problems related to excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions.
15. Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area and equipment.
16. Support opening and closing duties as per FOH Support Responsibilities Policy, clocking in/out appropriately when performing these duties.
17. Perform other duties as assigned by management, with pay rate determined by the specific duty.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during work hours. Notify your manager if unable to perform tasks outside your physical capabilities.
