We are currently looking for friendly, energetic, and dedicated bartenders to join our team and help us continue to provide excellent service to our valued guests.

Position Summary:

Kennedy’s is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and customer-focused indoor/outdoor Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and providing exceptional service to our guests. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests have a memorable experience from start to finish. This is a tipped position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set Up & Prepare: Complete opening and closing duties to ensure the bar area is stocked, organized, and ready for service.
• Customer Service: Serve beverages promptly, offering friendly and attentive service while engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
• Menu Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the drink menu, including signature cocktails, daily specials, and promotions. Use suggestive selling techniques to upsell items and provide recommendations.
• Drink Preparation: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Kennedy’s standards and recipes.
• Order Accuracy: Take drink and food orders from guests and communicate clearly with the back of house staff to ensure timely preparation and service.
• Payment Processing: Handle guest payments accurately, process transactions quickly, and provide change when necessary.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Ensure the bar area remains clean and organized throughout the shift. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and report any safety concerns to management.
• Restocking: Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies such as alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Inform management of low stock and assist in restocking as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including servers, kitchen and support staff, to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

• Flexibility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, especially during peak hours.

Work Environment:

• The bar area can be busy and loud, especially during peak hours, so the ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment is essential.
• Bartenders will be on their feet for most of the shift and must be able to move quickly between the bar and service areas.
• Bartenders will be working both inside the main dining room and outside on our garden patio.

Physical Demands:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb as required during the shift.
• Multitask and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Perform all duties both inside and outside all year round.
