Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking a friendly and energetic Bartender to join our F&B team. You will prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages in a luxury resort setting, delivering memorable guest interactions.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of bartending experience, strong knowledge of beverages, and excellent guest service skills. This on-site role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within EOS Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience; luxury resort experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage preparation.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Must meet state minimum age to serve alcohol; TIPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests at all times.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system.
• Build rapport with guests and create a welcoming, engaging bar atmosphere.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure the bar is properly set up, clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after service.
• Complete side work including stocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, fruit, and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state laws and resort standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout all bar areas.
• Assist fellow team members as needed to support efficient operations and exceptional guest service.
