Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Texas is seeking an energetic Bartender to craft cocktails, pour beers and serve guests with a welcoming, high‑service approach. You will know the menu inside and out and deliver food and drinks with safety and sanitation in mind.

In this role you will engage guests, recommend items, and uphold standards while adhering to alcohol laws. The position emphasizes teamwork, timely service and memorable guest experiences at a lively venue.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of bartending experience.
• Guest focused mindset.
• Teamwork is a must.
• 21+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required.
• Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Showcase extensive beer, wine and cocktail knowledge.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate Guests' needs.
• Create memorable experiences with exceptional service.
• Adhere to local and state alcohol laws and policies.
• Process payments and greet Guests returning to the venue.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and safe bar with side duties.

At Main Event, our Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer and serve up great food, drinks and FUN for all Guests! As a Bartender, you have a knack for creating a welcoming environment and are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great food and beverage suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcoming and engaging with all Guests, all while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service (You rock at creating a good time!)
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures and policies
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Maintaining a stocked, clean and safe bar; completing side duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have 6 months of bartending experience

• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends
