Overview
The Bartender is responsible for setting up the bar, mixing drinks, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and colleagues.
  • Set up the bar according to hotel standards and serve guests promptly.
  • Prepare beverages and cocktails per hotel standards.
  • Serve guests courteously and professionally.
  • Break down the bar after functions, storing supplies properly.
  • Follow all liquor laws.
  • Know hotel services and facilities.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and safety rules.
  • Serve liquor responsibly to prevent intoxication issues.
  • Respond to guest concerns, complaints, and accidents.
  • Be familiar with fire safety procedures.
  • Keep the bar and service area clean during shifts.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Flexible with hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Stand during entire shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Attend all required meetings and training.
  • Maintain appearance and grooming standards.
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations.
