POSITION SUMMARY
Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests in an incredibly friendly atmosphere. Provide food and drink service to guests seated at the bar and in the bar area, provide drink service to guests seated in the restaurant via servers, and maintain the overall bar area.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Assist in preparing the bar for service by setting up bar and bar area; including preparing items such as linens, silverware, and glassware, stocking liquors, preparing garnishes, and preparing drink mixers.
- Greet all guests promptly in a warm, personal and friendly manner.
- Guide guests through the menu and provide detailed, accurate information on menu items, including preparation methods, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
- Monitor guests' physical condition when entering the restaurant and bar; monitor alcohol consumption while on the premises to ensure all HCR and county serving policies are followed. Take appropriate steps according to HCR policies to reduce the occurrence of alcohol related issues.
- Confirm allergy indicators on food orders and follow proper procedures when handling or delivering allergy-sensitive items.
- Maintain active communication with kitchen and management to stay informed on menu changes, 86'd items, allergy notices, and special instructions.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system in a timely manner. Present a new check to the guest each time a new item is ordered.
- Verify legal drinking age by checking guests' identification.
- Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks for guests seated at the bar in an expeditious manner.
- Proactively check in with guests throughout the meal to anticipate and resolve issues before they arise.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bar area throughout the shift, including sanitizing surfaces, organizing tools, and bussing glassware.
- Maintain awareness of table numbers, guest seat numbers, and dining room sections to ensure accuracy and efficiency in service.
- Present accurate checks, manage special requests (such as split checks) and process payments efficiently and accurately.
- Restock service areas and maintain organized and sanitary workstations.
- Take garbage and recyclable items to the appropriate destination.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.
- Report for work on time and uphold expectations for attendance, uniform, and professional conduct. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Experience: Six months to one year related experience.
- Computer Skills: Experience with POS.
- Certifications & Licenses: Job offer contingent upon completion of background screening (any matters related to a bartender position may be considered in an employment decision).
- Must pass test with Liquor Department and obtain liquor card.
- Must take and pass all training tests 90% and higher.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
