Job summary

Bastion Events seeks professional Event Bartenders to join our hospitality-driven team serving luxury private events, weddings and corporate gatherings in the Houston area.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years bartending, knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits, fluent English, 21+ years of age and TABC certification or ability to obtain. You will work flexible, event-based shifts across Bastion venues and off-site locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bartending experience.
• Experience in upscale venues or luxury events preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits.
• Provide polished, professional service in high-end events.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• TABC Certification or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with exceptional hospitality and service.
• Execute beverages menus with specialty cocktails and event offerings.
• Keep bar area clean, organized and professional at all times.
• Assist with event setup, service and breakdown as needed.
• Provide attentive, personalized service while anticipating guest needs.
• Collaborate with event managers, servers, and culinary teams for a seamless guest experience.
• Represent Bastion Events with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of bartending experiencerequired.
• Experience in upscale restaurants, luxury catering, hotels, private events, or fine dining environments strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Ability to provide polished, professional service in a high-end event setting.
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid TABC Certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Reliable transportation required, as events may take place throughout the Greater Houston Area.

• Represent the Bastion Events brand with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Scheduling & Availability

• Flexible scheduling based on your availability and event calendar.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability for a minimum of two shifts per monthis preferred.
• Event shifts may vary based on client needs and event schedules.
• Events are held throughout the Greater Houston Area, including Bastion venues such as Soleil and Bar Moon in the Galleria area, as well as off-site locations.
