Job Description – Bartender
Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards. You’ll provide excellent guest service, maintain a clean and organized bar, and ensure that every drink and interaction reflects the Santa Fe Cattle Co. brand.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
  • Greet guests, learn their names, and ensure a welcoming, personalized experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment.
  • Monitor bar stock and assist with restocking and inventory management.
  • Communicate specials, promotions, and menu items to guests.
  • Accept guest payments and process transactions accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and state alcohol laws and company policies.
  • Maintain side work and closing duties as assigned by management.
  • Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to provide seamless service.
  • Uphold high standards for quality, presentation, and speed of service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What You Bring

  • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and standard drink recipes.
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast‑paced environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand and remain stationary for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Bend, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Work in a fast‑paced, busy bar environment.
