Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting in Groveland, FL is seeking a bartender to handle drink orders, serve wine, and attend to guests in a high-pace bar environment within a residential community.

You will maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, process payments, and close out the shift; you must communicate clearly, work with the team, and follow safety and company policies. This is a fast-paced, guest-focused role in a property setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bar or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and multiple payment methods.
• Maintain clean, organized bar workspace and service zone.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests according to recipes and standard measures.
• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles to guests.
• Attend to tables and provide menu and service details.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar and tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks and maintain bar stock.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies; restock bar with liquor.
• Transport supplies to bar area and wash soiled glassware.
• Count bank at shift end; complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Secure liquors and bar storage areas; complete closing duties.
• Follow safety policies, report incidents, and maintain professional appearance.
• Welcome guests, communicate clearly, and build positive team relations.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and company procedures.

• Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
• Attend to tables in the dining area.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.

• Restock bar with liquor and supplies.

• Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.

• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete closing duties.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Work Environment

The work environment is a high-rise, residential community. It will be located in the bar, handling cash, money, alcohol, food, and other beverages. The position may be located in a hot, noisy, and stressful environment. This is a fast-paced environment and sometimes chaotic dining room experience, especially during the busiest hours.

Physical Demands

• The employee will be standing and walking for most of the shift. Required to reach across and overhead, below the knees; including bending twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• The ability to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less.
• The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Work for extended periods of time outside in temperatures above 90 degrees.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Non-exempt position. Days and hours of work will be determine based on the business needs of the property.
