Responsibilities for this Position
  • Provides attentive and friendly service to customers.
  • Takes orders from customers, bar waiter/waitress, and service personnel.
  • Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
  • Collects money for drinks served.
  • Operates, balances and reconciles cash till and POS sales.
  • Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
  • Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
  • Prepares appetizers such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats.
  • Replenishes bar snacks such as chips, pretzels, and nuts.
  • Monitors consumption of alcohol by guests.
  • Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.
  • Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule and subject to change.
  • Performs otherreasonable duties as requested by Management.
Requirements
  • Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
  • One year certificate from college or technical school or 4 years current related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
  • Must possess a valid employee alcohol permit.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems under pressure conditions.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Must be hands-on.
  • Must always present a hospitality mentality--warm and generous.
  • Must always ensure a teamwork environment.
Technical Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Requires strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Must meet grooming standards.

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Must meet or exceed the team expectations.
