Job summary

Timber Creek in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a full-time Bartender to join Troon’s hospitality-focused team. The role offers $11.00 per hour and opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow within a global golf and community management leader.

Responsibilities include stocking and serving beverages, inventory control, compliance with liquor laws, guest service, opening/closing duties, POS transactions, and supporting event service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of bartending experience or equivalent training.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in inventory and cost control.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates needs to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Operates the POS system for checks and cash transactions.
• Reviews banquet schedules and events; serves at catered parties.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices.

Timber Creek , located in Fort Myers, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Bartender ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$11.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Bartender:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Bartender:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
