Responsibilities
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games.
- Promptly inform supervisor of problems or unusual matters and suggest corrective action.
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members.
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures and maintain station cleanliness.
- Operate credit‑card machines accurately, calculate change, and manage cash and coin.
- Follow alcohol awareness and prevention procedures; assess guest demeanor and report concerns to a manager.
- Use bar recipes to deliver consistent products, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction.
- Set up and take down station tables appropriately; keep station clean.
- Greet newly seated guests in a friendly, timely manner and accurately take food and drink orders.
- Enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, making correct modifications and charges.
- Acquire full responsibility for sales on personal Micros keys and complete station side tasks at shift start and end.
- Ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated bar areas or other restaurant sections.
- Work quickly and efficiently following the “Full hands in, Full hands out” philosophy.
- Participate in incentives, contests, and brand promotion to drive sales.
- Complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested.
- Perform opening and closing duties promptly; assist in party setup and breakdown.
- Assist other team members as needed or as business dictates.
- Bus and reset tables; ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery and maintaining drink levels.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company team members to foster a cooperative, harmonious climate and high morale.
Qualifications
- Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required.
- Skilled in communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm for the Dave & Buster’s experience.
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
- Dress appropriately in the required dress code, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Friendly, frequent smile, and ability to work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrate ability to operate Micros, handle credit‑card transactions, and reconcile all monies at shift end.
Physical Demands
Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required. Work in environments with hot and cold temperatures, freezers, and cooking equipment. Perform manual handling up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, walk or stand 100% of shift, reach, bend, stoop, sweep, and wipe frequently.
Compensation
Salary Range: 5.5 - 5.5
