Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Maryland is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails, pour beer, and deliver friendly, timely service to Guests. You’ll know the menu inside and out, suggest pairings, and create a welcoming, FUN environment.

You must be 21+, have an alcohol certification, and at least 6 months of bartending experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking accurate orders, processing payments, maintaining a clean bar, and adhering to safety and alcohol laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months bartending experience.
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork.
• 21+ years old; Alcohol certification as required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, teammates, and guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with guests as ambassador of FUN and ensure order accuracy.
• Recommend menu items and showcase beer, wine, and cocktails knowledge.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate guest needs.
• Process payments and greet guests returning.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and safe bar; perform side duties.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards and comply with alcohol laws.

Job Description: At Main Event, our Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve up great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Bartender, you have a knack for creating a welcoming environment and are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great food and beverage suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with all guests while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service (You rock at creating a good time!)
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe bar; completing side duties
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have 6 months of bartending experience
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• 21+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests

Salary Range: 3.63 - 4
