Boka Restaurant Group and Top Chef/Iron Chef winner Stephanie Izard are currently seeking Seasonal Bartenders to join the team at Cabra, located on the top floor of The Hoxton Chicago!

*** This seasonal position will start as Part Time with potential to transition to Full Time***
(May - September / October)

ABOUT CABRA: Cabra, meaning "goat" in Spanish, is inspired by Stephanie Izard’s travels in Peru, capturing flavors and culture from Lima, Arequipa, and Cusco. Located atop Chicago’s Fulton Market District, Cabra offers a vibrant dining experience with outdoor areas, panoramic views, and a lively atmosphere, making it a true getaway.

BARTENDER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Support staff in managing the assigned section to maintain smooth service flow
• Serve food and beverages adhering to restaurant standards
• Ring all orders with 100% accuracy to ensure proper service flow
• Handle guest payments accurately
• Check IDs for alcohol service per BRG standards
• Follow sanitation practices diligently
• Audit and balance cash/credit receipts daily
• Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures timely

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
• Valid health, sanitation, and alcohol service certificates
• Strong interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Use tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and effectively
• Stand and walk throughout shifts, including stairs and uneven surfaces
• Work in hot and cold environments
