Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of bartender experience.
  • Current bartenders’ certification or appropriate license.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
  • Descriptive and able to sell through menu descriptions.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive and in the bar area.
  • Guide guests on their beverage journey with menu descriptions.
  • Take accurate orders and confirm special requests.
  • Be the master of the bar and maintain product details.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist guests to resolve concerns and finalize the experience with a correct bill.
  • Stock, garnish, and present drinks following recipes; manage bar setup.
  • Input orders at POS and secure cash handling.

This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven person to grow and learn at a world-class property!Your role:Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar areaMaintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar dailyGuide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menuBe accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requestsBe the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversationWork collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staffAssist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happyFinalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentationRequisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spiritsResponsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control.Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guestLocks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.What are we looking for?Someone with an engaging and welcoming personalityCurrent bartenders’ certification or appropriate licenseKnowledgeable in the latest trends around mixologySomeone who is descriptive and can saleSomeone with 2-4 years of bartender experienceSomeone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spiritsSomeone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentSomeone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guestsSomeone with excellent communication skillsCompensation:$14.00-$14.00Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
