Job summary

The Ridge at Castle Pines in Castle Rock, CO seeks a part-time Bartender to join Troon’s hospitality team. This seasonal position offers an opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced environment within a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities include stocking, serving, inventory control, and guest service while ensuring compliance with liquor laws and company SOPs. Must be 21+ with bartending experience.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and bartending experience or training.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol per state law.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve beverages, assist in inventory and cost control.
• Maintain inventory records and communicate needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Take guest requests and communicate with Department Manager.
• Perform opening/closing duties including cash handling and cleaning.
• Operate Point of Sale system for orders and payments.
• Support banquet events and catered parties as needed.

Description

The Ridge at Castle Pines in Castle Rock, CO is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Bartender. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$12.14 - $15.16 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
