Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to build relationships, recognize members by name, and retain preferences.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, draft beer, bottled beer, and liquor.
• Take food and beverage orders, offer personalized recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
• Practice mixology using fresh ingredients to craft high-quality cocktails and beverages.
• Serve beverages in compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.

Job description

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Bartender. We are considering candidates with at least 2 years of prior experience working within an upscale restaurant, hotel or resort environment. Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills are a must and knowledge of JONAS is a plus. Bartenders are responsible for food and beverage and service knowledge, serving meals to members in our restaurants and providing an exceptional dining experience.

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following

• The bartender is responsible for greeting patrons, processing their food/beverage orders, and maintaining the overall environment according to the standards of Woodfield Country Club.
• Demonstrates the ability to build relationships, recognize membership by name and retain member preferences.
• Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including but not limited to wine, draft beer, bottled beer, liquor, etc.
• Takes food and/or beverage orders from members and their guests, offering suggestions to personalize and customize the dining experience for each patron.
• Practices mixology using prepared and fresh ingredients to make high quality cocktails and other beverages.
• Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
