Job Description
We are looking for fun, outgoing and creative personalities to provide high level bar service to our Members and their guests.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Request additional supplies as necessary and stock the bar.
- Follow set-up procedures.
- Prepare garnishes, fruit mixes and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening bar.
- Greets members and guests.
- Mix, prepare, and serve drinks to members and guests and mix and prepare drinks ordered by food and beverage servers according to approved standard recipes.
- Report complaints to a manager as they occur.
- Maintain and clean bar area and equipment.
- Maintain records of liquors, beers, and wine to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times.
- Clean and lock the bar area according to prescribed closing procedures.
- Ensure that all food items are correctly stored, labeled, dated, and rotated to prevent any health or safety hazards from occurring, and take precautions against possible spoilage.
- Attend staff meetings including pre-shift (line-up) sessions and training as required.
- Carefully follow all laws and club policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service and inform manager if continued service to a member or guest is in question.
- Serve drinks to members and guests seated at lounge tables in the absence of a beverage server.
- Continually practice beverage and revenue control procedures.
- All other duties as assigned by the Bar Manager and Director of Food and Beverage.

- Able to work flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
- Ability to work large or small events with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Proof of Hep A vaccination is required.
- Certificate of State of Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training (SMART) required if of legal age to serve alcohol.
Working Conditions
Restaurant setting in hot, humid, and noisy environment.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for long periods and walk, climb, stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist to reach.
- Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
