Job summary

Atkinson Resort and Country Club in Atkinson, NH, part of Troon, is hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Bartenders. We seek upbeat individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and are eager to learn, contribute, and grow within our team.

You will stock, mix, and serve beverages, assist with seasonal cocktails, and ensure compliance with state liquor laws. Prior POS experience (POSITOUCH/MICROS) is preferred; high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience required;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems preferred.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Ability to handle cash and maintain inventory.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in inventory and cost control.
• Assists with seasonal cocktails and menu development.
• Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash handling, and restocking.
• Uses Point of Sale system and reviews banquet schedules.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars and occasionally serves meals.

Atkinson Resort and Country Club, located in Atkinson, NH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for both Full-Time and Part-Time Bartenders! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintains inventory records.
• Assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
• Assists department leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
• On occasion will serve meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g. POSITOUCH and MICROS)

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current trends in industry and marketplace
• Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values
• Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients and vendors
• Fluent in English speaking, writing and understanding
• Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
