Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for beverage control and general cleanliness of all bar areas. The Bartender consistently displays and provides the Three Steps of Service at all opportunities, which meet and exceed the Member's expectations.

Day-to-Day

• Prepare set-up appropriately at the start of the shift (e.g., put bottles out, set up garnish tray, check and stock juices, stock glassware, fill ice bin).
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure all necessary items are in place.
• Control liquor and accurately pour products.
• Have knowledge of all liquors, beer, and wines available, as well as the menu, daily features, and specials.
• Assist with serving food and beverages to Members and guests at the bar.
• Execute Member/guest orders and requests promptly and accurately.
• Know Members' names and greet them warmly.

About You

• Previous bartending and Food & Beverage experience required.
• Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends, indoors and outdoors.
• Knowledge of bar beverages, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Knowledge of common cocktails, mixed drinks, and specialty drinks.
• Alcohol and food safety certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
