Job summary

Eau Claire Golf and Country Club in Altoona, Wisconsin, is seeking a Part-Time Bartender to join its hospitality team within Troon’s global network. This position offers $10.00 per hour in a fast-paced setting where learning, contribution, and growth are encouraged.

Key duties include stocking and mixing drinks, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with state liquor laws, handling cash and POS, assisting with banquet events and serving meals when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of bartending experience and/or training.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages; assist in cost control and inventory.
• Maintain inventory records and monitor supplies.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicate guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Open and close duties: inventory, cash control, cleaning, restocking.
• Handle checks and cash transactions; use Point of Sale system.
• Review banquet schedule and events; accommodate special events.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars; may serve meals to guests.
• Practice safe work habits; perform other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:$10.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications

Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.

Alcohol Awareness Training.
