Job summary

Eau Claire Golf and Country Club in Altoona, WI, part of Troon, seeks a Part-Time Bartender to join a global leader in golf and hospitality. You will stock, mix and serve beverages, ensure compliance with liquor laws, manage inventory, and handle cash in a fast-paced setting. Minimum 1 year bartending experience; 18+ to serve; HS diploma or GED required. Benefits include PTO and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves beverages, assists in inventory control.
• Maintains inventory records and communicates needs to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Gathers guest requests and relays to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory and cash handling.
• Uses POS system for transactions.
• Reviews banquet schedules and events.
• Serves catered events and occasionally meals.

Eau Claire Golf and Country Club in Altoona, WI is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$10.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
