Job summary

The Blake’s family of companies is seeking a Bartender passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through high-quality service and expertly crafted beverages. You’ll pour drinks, serve guests, and keep a clean, organized bar area.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing beverages to recipes, knowing drink menus, checking IDs, operating POS, and collaborating with servers to ensure timely service. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly conversation.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and bar specials.
• Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol consumption responsibly.
• Operate POS systems, take orders, and process payments accurately.
• Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Check taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs or changing out kegs, if needed.
• Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service guidelines.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
