The Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore seeks a certified Barre Instructor to lead engaging classes, ensure safety, and tailor routines for all fitness levels.
Attend staff trainings, keep the studio clean, and stay current on Barre trends. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required or provided by JCC. Pay starts at $25/hour for new instructors, with experienced staff at $30.50/hour; benefits include JCC membership and program discounts.

Instructors have a variety of job functions including, but not limited to, successfully leading a class through appropriately designed routines, with proper music selection to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance, while ensuring the safety of the members. Recording attendance is considered an after-class duty.
The work environment is often energetic and focused on promoting physical well-being. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Physical fitness to perform and demonstrate exercises effectively.
Salary Range: The minimum salary for a new instructor is $25 per hour. An experienced instructor (5+ years experience) with a national group fitness certification, will start at $30.50 per hour.
Benefit & Perks: When an instructor has at least one weekly, on-going class on schedule, the JCC offers membership to the Jewish Community Center, discounts on programs including preschool and summer camp, and wellbeing programming.
