Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead a range of classes, connect with members, and promote Life Time programs in a safe, energetic environment. You will consistently engage participants, demonstrate proper form, and support a welcoming studio culture.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of fitness instruction experience, CPR/AED certification, and a NASM/ACE/AFAA/AEA certification. The role emphasizes safety, motivation, and community engagement in our studio setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years fitness instructor experience preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Minimum one of NASM, ACE, AFAA or AEA certifications.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for a class duration.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds regularly.
• Ability to execute exercises for assigned class.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching diverse, entertaining classes.
• Educates participants on correct form and safe alternative moves.
• Attentively listens to members, answers questions, and engages before/after classes.
• Cleans and organizes studio space after each class.
• Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while using appropriate language.
• Promotes Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services to encourage participation.
