Role Description The Barre Instructor is a part-time, on-site role based in Peoria, AZ, responsible for teaching barre3 Signature and related class formats in alignment with barre3 methodology. Day-to-day tasks include preparing class plans, leading safe and effective group exercise sessions, offering modifications for diverse abilities, and integrating strength, cardio, and mindfulness principles. The instructor will engage and motivate clients, foster an inclusive studio environment, and provide exceptional in-studio customer service before, during, and after classes. Responsibilities also include attending training sessions, staying current with barre3 programming, assisting with studio events, and supporting basic studio operations such as class setup, equipment organization, and occasional check-in at the front desk.

Qualifications

• Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction skills, with the ability to lead safe, effective, and inclusive classes for varying fitness levels.
• Strong Communication skills for clear cueing, motivational coaching, and constructive feedback in a group setting.
• Customer Service and client relationship-building skills to create a welcoming, supportive, and respectful studio environment.
• Training experience, including willingness to complete barre3-specific training and continuously develop instructional skills.
• Previous experience in fitness, dance, yoga, Pilates, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Ability to stand, move, and demonstrate exercises for extended periods, and to safely lift and organize studio equipment.
• Reliable availability for a consistent part-time schedule, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain certification within a defined onboarding period.
