Job summary

barre3 Portland is seeking an instructor to lead barre3 classes and deliver a welcoming, energizing studio experience. You will communicate the barre3 brand and values while fostering community among clients and staff across multiple Portland locations.

Successful candidates participate in auditions, complete barre3 New Instructor Training, and gain access to comprehensive training resources and a 2‑day intensive session with a Studio Mentor. No prior fitness experience is required.

Qualifications

• Audition required to be invited to New Instructor Training, learning simple class choreography.
• Evaluation of leadership qualities, strong body awareness, and musicality during audition.
• Barre3 Portland provides educational materials and training including a 2‑day intensive training.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of 4 barre3 classes per week, plus weekend options, following barre3 guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with clients and foster a warm studio environment.
• Communicate the barre3 brand and core values through cueing.
• Attend quarterly meetings/workshops and training sessions.
