Job summary

huminaresource is hiring a Barista (Café Associate) for our front-of-house team in Ventura, CA. You will focus on beverage and food service, while also introducing cosmetic and spa product lines through natural conversation with guests.

Ideal candidates are cheerful, proactive, and customer-focused, with a passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn in a creative, lifestyle-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent in English (Japanese language skills a plus).
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service with a positive attitude.
• Take and process orders accurately using the POS system, handle payments, and ensure smooth transactions.
• Prepare beverages such as coffee and espresso drinks, fresh juices, matcha jelly drinks, and desserts following hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in all café areas (tables, counters, floors, restrooms).
• Naturally introduce and promote cosmetics and spa services while interacting with guests.
