Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and connect with every customer every time by being a brand ambassador with positivity and enthusiasm
- Consistently provide quality beverages and food
- Have a clear knowledge of all inventory items and accurately communicate product information to customers by responding to questions, orders, and concerns
- Maintain a clean environment including the cleaning of the back of house, bar areas, and patios to contribute to a healthy environment for customers and employees
- Contribute to store profitability by following Verve’s cash handling and cash register protocols
- Participate in the training and development of new employees
- Work at different stations in the café as needed and assigned
- Follow all Verve policies, procedures, and processes
- Have a passion for coffee!
Qualifications and Requirements
- Retail and/or customer service experience is preferred; Coffee experience is a plus
- Must maintain current state-issued Food Handler Card
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to multi-task and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Inclusive, respectful, and professional; ability to work as part of a team
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Availability for part-time/full-time hours, including weekends and holidays; hours may fluctuate based on business needs
