Macy's is seeking a Barista Trainer to support the Starbucks Manager in running a safe, professional Starbucks operation inside our store, ensuring all company standards are met and customers receive outstanding service.

Full-time shift coverage includes weekend work; the role emphasizes leadership, coaching, on-the-job training, and adherence to Food Division Standards, with a focus on quality beverages, speed of service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows and ensures team follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices.
• Provides leadership and directs associates in delivering food and customer service to Starbucks standards.
• Prepares and presents drip coffee, cold beverages, espresso, and pastries to standard.
• Maintains merchandising, product presentations and signing standards.
• Ensures speed of service targets are met.
• Monitors food quality using Starbucks checklists.
• Acts as a role model for customer service and training initiatives.
• Collaborates with store management and provides ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Maintains grooming, professional appearance and safe work practices.
• Assists in inventory, ordering and cost control activities.
• Performs other duties as needed.
