Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to support the restaurant by providing leadership and training to the Barista staff, ensuring the creation and maintenance of the Starbucks Experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company policies related to cash handling, operations, personal appearance, conduct, and guest relations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including trash removal, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, countertops, food prep areas, display cases, and equipment.
• Implement the Company’s Customer Service Standards and deliver legendary customer service.
• Provide coaching to improve individual and team performance.
• Perform opening duties such as food preparation, stocking, and setting up displays.
• Perform closing duties including storing products and cleaning.
• Train new Baristas according to Starbucks standards.
• Foster a positive team environment with cooperation, high morale, and effective communication.
• Ensure outstanding customer service with friendly greetings, product knowledge, and service standards.
• Stay informed about promotions and advertisements.
• Verify registers and complete paperwork during opening and closing.
• Follow procedures for sales and transactions, including voids and refunds.
• Work closely with management to provide leadership and set a good example.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead with integrity, honesty, and knowledge, maintaining calmness during busy periods.
• Keep the work area clean and safe for customers and staff.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Work Environment & Additional Info
