Purpose/Position Summary:

Support the operation of restaurants by brewing beverages, general labor, cashier, food prep, and cooking duties required to operate a restaurant.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Adhere to all company policies related to cash handling, operations, personal appearance, conduct, and guest relations. Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including trash removal, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables, counters, food prep areas, display cases, and equipment.
  2. Understand brewing concepts and coffee bean/water quality.
  3. Serve and create appealing beverages.
  4. Supervise employees during shifts.
  5. Perform opening duties such as food prep, stocking, rotating products, and setting up displays.
  6. Perform closing duties including storing products and cleaning.
  7. Assist in food preparation and cooking according to recipes.
  8. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting, acknowledging, and maintaining high standards.
  9. Be aware of all promotions and advertisements.
  10. Handle register operations, including opening and closing procedures, and processing transactions.
  11. Deliver product knowledge and communicate customer requests to management.
  12. Maintain the appearance and stock of the register area.
  13. Follow SOP manuals to adhere to company policies.
  14. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Decision-Making Authority:

Exercise judgment in daily transactions and information provision. For technical or policy decisions, consult with managers or finance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience. Ability to work flexible hours. Must be able to read, communicate effectively in English, perform basic math, and understand instructions. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform related tasks.

Knowledge of workplace safety and procedures is essential.
